Morristown, Tennessee

Technology News carries a story about Morristown, Tennessee's fiber build: Local Utility Installs Fiber-to-Home Network. It looks like Lafayette doesn't have a corner on the feisty mayor market; read what Morristown Mayor Gary Johnson says:
'You have an industry that Congress has said we can't regulate,' Johnson said. 'If we can't regulate them and they won't operate the way they ought to ... you have no choice. If you're going to protect your citizens, you have to go into the business.'
Charter Cable doesn't agree, of course. It sounds a lot like our story here in Louisiana.
